Our Mission

Artemis Independent and our sister company, Hogwild Films, are now in production on a video series featuring unique business owners in the town of Boone in the western North Carolina mountains.

Where is that, you ask? Well... it's in the boonies! Or more precisely, comfortably perched high atop the ancient and spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains in the western part of the state.

We love Boone & the High Country, and ‘boonies’ is our way of introducing the world to this unique community and the warm-hearted entrepreneurs who have chosen to call these beautiful Appalachian Mountains home.
